Hieflau - Eisenerz - Präbichl
Eisenerz liegt am Erzbach inmitten der aufragenden Felsen der Eisenerzer Alpen im Südwesten und des Hochschwab im Nordosten. Die vier Felsformationen von Eisenerzer Reichenstein, Wildfeld, Kaiserschild und Pfaffenstein dominieren das Stadtbild. Dazu kommen die rötlich gefärbten Stufen des Erzbergs, der der größte Eisenerz-Tagbau Mitteleuropas ist. Der Präbichl ist ein Gebirgspass (1.226 m ü. A.), der die Eisenerzer Alpen (Eisenerzer Reichenstein, 2.165 m) vom Hochschwab (Polster, 1.911 m) trennt. Der Pass verbindet das Erzbachtal mit der Gemeinde Eisenerz und das Vordernbergertal. Durch beide Täler verläuft die Österreichische Eisenstraße. Von der Passhöhe bietet sich ein schöner Blick auf die umgebende Bergwelt, von der nördlichen Zufahrtsrampe auf die markanten Abbaustufen des Erzbergs. Über den Pass führt auch die Erzbergbahn, die früher den Erzberg mit den Hüttenwerken in Leoben-Donawitz verband. Heute wird die Strecke als Museumsbahn betrieben.

Triebener Tauern Südseite runter - von Hohentauern nach Möderbrugg
Der Triebener Tauern ist ein Gebirgspass über die Niederen Tauern in der Steiermark (Österreich). Er liegt an der Scheide zwischen Seckauer und Rottenmanner Tauern und verbindet das Murtal bei Judenburg (Aichfeld) mit dem Paltental bei Trieben über die Triebener Straße (B114). Die Passhöhe liegt bei 1274 m ü. A. innerhalb der Ortschaft Hohentauern. Während die rund 30 km lange Südrampe einen sanften Verlauf durch das Tal des Pölsbaches nimmt, verläuft die Nordrampe im Tal des Tauernbaches und überwindet dabei auf 8 km Länge 569 Höhenmeter. Aufgrund der topographischen Situation erfolgt dieser Anstieg hauptsächlich in zwei je 2,5 km langen Steilstücken. Das obere Steilstück wurde bereits in den 1970er-Jahren ausgebaut, wobei sich die maximale Steigung von 21 % auf 13 % reduzierte. Das untere Steilstück zwischen Trieben und Sunk hatte bis Oktober 2008 Steigungen von bis zu 16 %, wozu erschwerend einige Kurven kamen. Zudem führte die Steilstrecke direkt in das Ortszentrum von Trieben. Trotz Beschränkungen für Schwerfahrzeuge kam es immer wieder zu gefährlichen Situationen wegen schadhafter oder überhitzter Bremsen. Am 8. August 1991 kam ein ungarischer Reisebus von der Fahrbahn ab und stürzte in die Tiefe, wobei 13 Personen ums Leben kamen. Am 21. Juni 2006 erfolgte der Spatenstich zu einem kompletten Neubau des Abschnitts zwischen Trieben und Sunk. Da es auf dem Straßenstück auch immer wieder zu Massenbewegungen kam, die einen hohen Sanierungsaufwand erforderten, entschloss ...

In the ground station you see in the last two photos. This is the gear I am using, an 1.2G 500mw video transmitter coupled with a receiver using a stock whip antenna. The recording device in the photo is an Archos 605, which makes AVI files of DV quality (640x480 25frames/sec). A video splitter (the yellow adapter) is connected to the video goggles and the recording gadget. There is no degradation of picture quality. The 1.2G receiver set at channel 1 is powered by a reliable source of 3-cell 1300mah Li battery. I fly this 3D EPP plane, Hyperion Sniper 3D of 1m wingspan, with FPV gear because of its light weight and highly agile response. The gross flying weight is approximately 600g, which somehow makes it a bit difficult to fly in windy conditions. A camera is mounted on a pan servo, and a tilt servo is adhered to the camera's back. The transmitter of 13 grams is powered by a 3-cell 500 mah Li battery which can be charged on the flying field using portable e-sky 3-cell Li charger. The video was taken at Kai Tak Airport, an international airport of Hong Kong before 1998. It is now a construction site and of course a lovely place for all rc lovers. The plane was flown right above runway 31. My gear was purchased at www.inno-flight.com.

Der erzeugte Strom wird in das Netz der Stadtwerke Köflach eingespeist.

Creative Zen 32 GB Portable Media Player (Black) Customer Review
I'll keep this short and sweet as possible, this being my 4th Creative Zen buy! *Plus also bought a Muvo 2GB for 1 of my sons!*
Battery life,, compared to the I-Pod Touch I own, the Zen has great battery life and if run nearly dead will charge fairly quick, the buttons & menu take a while to figure out & master, but do work well. The Volume choice & Menu selection keys are easy to learn and maneuver, about the same curve learning wise as the I-Pod.
The newer utility to convert Flash & other files to watch is quick & effective. A basic no brainer for the most part, a little time putzing around with it helps with learning menus and basic navigation & controls and care of it too.
So far the 3 year old 4GB Zen has the same battery level & available hrs & use as the newest one! A sure sign of effective use & recharging fully of the battery after enjoying my media! Haven't had any glitches media wise nor battery wise, screen is still clear with minimal scratches, I didn't think of protectors until after my I-Pod purchase! Honestly media transfer is easier on the Creative units, compared to the I-Pod! Figured it would be the opposite but was wrong, (odd isn't it?). Overall the creative units have served me & my kids quite well, am really thinking of buying a 32GB or 64GB X-Fi model sometime soon as well. Honestly thought the I-Pod would out-shine the Creative but it didn't, it's not as easy to navigate nor charge and loading media via I-Tunes sucks!! Plus it really eats power just listening to MP3's or AAC's or whatever.....Video's always eat more power but the I-Pod needed recharging sooner, almost every time I used it! Oh well, Double the cost & it isn't as useful, or as energy efficient at least for me anyway!
My only beef lately buying Creative is using Amazon! It was smoother and cheaper buying direct via [...]!? Oh well, things do change I guess...
I also seldom give 100% or 5 stars yadda yadda, but the Zen really shines!
Now when the batteries do croak, I'll buy a kit and replace it myself, isn't that hard to do, minor fiddling with wires and a touch of Solder ..etc..etc..
If your willing to learn the Keystrokes, menus and so on, it's a gem of a buy!

The Comparison of the Zune and the IPod
Everyone knows that the iPod steals the show when it comes to MP3 Players, but are they the best option out there? I am going to give you an in depth comparison of the Zune mp3 player and the iPod.
Lets start with some of the features that the Zune MP3 Players have while the iPods do not: Wi-Fi, Pre-loaded Video, Pre-loaded Audio, FM Tuner, Landscape Mode, Wireless Sync, Custom Background, Wireless File Sharing, Tactile + Touch Control, and an X-BOX Marketplace Integration. That is quite a few features that iPod does without when you look at the list. Another thing that may bother some is that the iPod already comes preloaded with a virus, although not one that will do any major harm to your computer, the idea that a company is willing to put a virus on products whether it be for tracking purposes or something else doesn't exactly sound like the most appetizing product.
So far the Zune mp3 player is putting up a good fight, lets keep it going. One feature that the iPod does have that Zune MP3 Players do not is a click wheel, which can prove to be quite useful when searching through your thousand plus song play list. This part of the iPod is probably one of the biggest reasons it is so popular due to the fact that having the wheel makes the navigation and ease-of-use unbelieveable, but is that really enough to balance the differences? If you try to get all of the music you want to listen to through iTunes you will go broke, because you have to pay for each and every song. On the other hand, Zune MP3 Players have a Zune Marketplace in which you pay only $14.99 a month to receive unlimited downloads to all the music you want.
Lets take a little time to review the comparison. The Zune does have a lot more features than the iPod, and while a great concept and all, some of those features are broken or close to useless. Still, for the ones that do work and have any use, they outshine the features of the iPod, but only barely. When it comes to comparing screen sizes, they match up almost exactly the same, with the 80GB Zune having a small lead, and the iPod nano being a little wider but shorter than the Zune 4GB.
Now, I understand that it may still be hard for you to make a decision on what MP3 Player you would like to purchase. Just look at the facts, the comparison definitely shows that both companies are here to fight, but there is a few things that stand out for the Zune as opposed to the iPod, although the iPod does have the X Factor when it comes to their product. That being said, if you are going to purchase an mp3 player, it can go either way, although the iPod is more known and more popular, on paper the Zune looks like it is a little better.
For anyone who likes to follow fads and be a follower, purchase what everyone else has or is wearing, then regardless of what an article says about how something may be better, you've probably already made your decision. But if your open to new ideas and concepts, and are willing to do the research to get the better product, then you have a good chance of changing your mind. So, unless your dying to have a scroll wheel, I think we all know what mp3 player is better, but I'll leave that one for you to decide, thank you.
