Okay, I waited patiently since Mother's Day when my husband forgot my suggestion of a Kindle as a gift until this last month when I informed him that what I wanted for my birthday this month was a Kindle. Love it! Can't live without it! Day, nite, work, home, I'm reading, playing games, listening to books. Really, just bite the bullet and get one! You will not be disappointed. It's easy enough to use. Even when I purchased an audible book and couldn't get it to open on my Kindle I was able to speak to someone who talked me thru downloading it to my computer then transfer to my Kindle (okay, we don't have WiFi on our home computer and I wasn't aware of that) so the help is great if you don't understand something!
I would suggest getting the 3G and WiFi tho so you have the options that the cheaper Kindle does not allow.
Oh and the white really rocks out any cool color case that you purchase to protect it. Enjoy!
